Is Hypnosis Right for YOU?
I'm curious.... Are you tired of trying a different self-improvement technique each day only to find yourself feeling just as lost and unsure as when you started? If so, hypnosis may be the perfect solution.
With its ability to quickly facilitate positive behavior change and create lasting results, hypnosis has long been an effective form of therapy for those looking to build healthier habits and improve the quality of their lives. And while some may view it with apprehension, many others are now realizing just how powerful this practice can be in helping them reach their goals. So, let’s dive into what hypnosis is all about and learn why it might be exactly what you need! Hypnosis is often misunderstood. There are many myths and misconceptions regarding "hypnosis." For some even the word "Hypnosis," strikes fear and uncertainty. Even the definition of "Hypnosis" is weird. Check this out: "The induction of a state of consciousness in which a person apparently loses the power of voluntary action and is highly responsive to suggestion or direction. Its use in therapy, typically to recover suppressed memories or to allow modification of behavior by suggestion, has been revived but is still controversial." You Do NOT lose the power of voluntary action. However, you may be highly responsive to suggestion or direction, which is why it's so effective for therapy. The movie industry does not help with it's portrayal of scary hypnotists casting their dark magic and controlling how people behave and what they experience. In some old films, the idea of hypnosis was used as the tool to make an innocent person murder someone they didn't know and even rob a bank. That's crazy and completely false. If I could control everyone, why wouldn't I rob a bank myself? LOL! Hollywood has used hypnosis to sensationalize their plot and storyline for decades and that's okay, however, it perpetuates an idea that is completely off the charts untrue. Unfortunately, it may keep people from using this valuable tool to create a successful, healthy life that is inherently already theirs. Here is another definition I found on the internet: Hypnosis - Mayo Clinic Nov 17, 2022 — Hypnosis is a changed state of awareness and increased relaxation that allows for improved focus and concentration. The Mayo Clinic's version is much closer to accurate, but it still doesn't tell the whole tale. So what is the truth? While guiding subjects into the relaxed state of hypnosis, scientists have been able to measure the changes in the brain that takes place all day long. Hypnosis is a brain wave you experience several times a day. Everything is hypnosis. From the word gnosis, which means "to Know," hypnosis is a fantastic label for your own experience of reality... What is important to understand, is that with the help of a qualified hypnotherapist and coach, you can easily get the subconscious mind to cooperate with your desires.
Let me ask you this, are you tired of trying so hard? Do you keep repeating the same traumas over and over again, or attract the same kind of negative people or defeating experiences? Are you done going it alone? Do you think you could succeed if you had the right kind of help? And lastly, do you truly want to be happy? If you answered YES! to any of these questions, then perhaps it's time to invest in yourself, release that old baggage, and claim your LIFE! Here are some of the proven benefits experienced by some of my clients: 1. Hypnosis allows you to connect with your own natural wisdom and inner peace. 2. Your personalized hypnosis sessions can really calm the circuits, and in some cases even lowering blood pressure and boosting immunity. 3. Hypnosis can help you curb your appetite and avoid eating unhealthy foods or overeating, over imbibing, and keep you on track with your healthy diet. 4. Using hypnosis has been shown to increase neural connections and brain activity, which may help you have more clarity, feel relaxed, confident and more joyful. 6. If you’re not sure whether hypnosis is right for you, consider this: what have you got to lose? Hypnosis is a natural state that we all go in and out of every day. More definitive definition for sure.. "Hypnosis is a changed state of awareness and increased relaxation that allows for improved focus and concentration." I've personally discovered hypnosis to be a natural physical phenomenon; self's ability to change contingent on my focus Great post
